Workshop for developing concept note on Riverine Ecosystems of HKH Region

Institute of Remote Sensing, Jahangirnagar University (IRS-JU) arranged a daylong workshop to develop concept note on “Riverine Ecosystems of Hindu Kush Himalaya Regions” at Geospatial Lab of IRS-JU. IRS Director Professor Dr. Sheikh Tawhidul Islam conducted the session and representatives from PRISM-India and Assam Central University, India were present in the workshop. A draft concept note has been developed on the basis of the discussion. The concept note has been submitted to the ICIMOD for funding.
